President and Chief Executive Officer

Daryl Crawford is President and Chief Executive Officer of Capstone Corporation and its subsidiary companies Capstone Physician Services and Bay Area Medical Adjusters. Mr. Crawford has over 30 years of accounting, finance, operations and customer service experience in middle to senior management positions in several industries. He has achieved recognition and numerous awards for his problem solving skills, which he has utilized in the financial turnaround and management of start-up companies as well as mature companies with annual revenues in excess of $20,000,000.

Before forming Capstone in 1994, Mr. Crawford served for three years as Executive Vice President of a five-physician practice where he led the company's activities in matters such as business planning; managed care contracting; practice improvement policies and procedures; staff training and motivation; compensation and incentive plans; and information technology for improving billing and receivables performance.

Mr. Crawford is a “hands-on” manager whose experience in the healthcare industry includes work with hospitals, urgent care facilities, nursing homes, medical groups and other health care providers. With over 10 years of healthcare management experience, Mr. Crawford serves a diverse client base spanning various specialties. With experience in all facets of health care billing and accounts receivable management, he has assisted many clients in improving reimbursements and reducing expenses.

Daryl Crawford's experience in medical office management and healthcare information technology, combined with his years of consulting to physicians and practice managers gives him a solid understanding of the needs and challenges of physicians today, as well as a unique insight into the future for medical practices.
